James Bond villains: The Rock’s grandfather was the landlord

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is hoping to finally be James Bond.

In the latest edition of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” the wrestler/actor/box office kingpin’s maternal grandfather played a villain in the 1967 James Bond film “Live and Let Die.”

In the installment, Johnson’s grandfather, Martin Grady, is the low-class landlord of Ian Fleming’s character, Bond’s former boss M. “Live and Let Die” is Johnson’s first foray into acting. He recently made his hosting debut on the U.K. version of “Saturday Night Live.”

“I couldn’t be more excited. I’m just a kid at heart and I want to make my family proud,” said the current bachelor. “It’s a part of my history, you know, it’s sort of a defining moment in my life and I’m going to take full advantage of it.”

Sure, but he will have to take a DNA test first.

“I’m going to learn how to do it,” Johnson told “Keeping Up.” “I’m not going to lie to you. If I can get one of those DNA tests, then I’ll know. I’ll have to see where my body’s at, make sure I’m strong enough, but if it works, I’ll try it.”
