Police have taken over the investigation into a man who was shot in Brampton last week.
In a tweet on Saturday evening, Ontario Provincial Police tweeted that the Homicide Unit took over the investigation into the shooting of 21-year-old Shahrokh Moheed.

The man died of his injuries at a Brampton hospital on Saturday morning. Moheed was initially hospitalized in critical condition after police say he was shot in the neck by two unknown suspects who fled the scene on foot.
According to the Globe and Mail, the attack occurred outside a Caribou Club at 141 Second Avenue East at about 3:45 a.m. local time last Wednesday.
Homicide unit detectives say that they have canvassed the area and are asking anyone with information on Moheed’s death to contact police.
